Description:
The training session will cover the methodology for conducting a CRAM assessment using the vernal pool complex and individual vernal pool modules. Your training instructors will be Mike Klinefelter (wetland scientist) and Lindsay Teunis (restoration ecologist) both private consultants and experienced CRAM practitioners. The location of the classroom portion of the session is still to be determined. The field portion will be held at various vernal pool wetlands throughout San Diego County. Please plan on carpooling with other participants to field sites.
If registration numbers are not met, we will cancel the session and refund fees in full. A registration form and payment instructions will be provided.
Field Equipment:
Participants will need appropriate footwear (rubber knee boots or hiking boots, depending on recent rainfall) and field clothing.
