5-day General CRAM Training

Description:

Your training instructors will be Cara Clark, Kevin O'Connor, and Sarah Stoner-Duncan, all from the Central Coast Wetlands Group at Moss Landing Marine Labs and members of the statewide CRAM development team. Cara and Kevin are also members of the Level 2 committee of the California Wetlands Monitoring Workgroup. The classroom portion of the session will be held in the seminar room of Moss Landing Marine Labs, 8272 Moss Landing Rd., Moss Landing, CA, 95039. The field portion will be held at various wetlands around the Monterey Bay Area. Please plan on carpooling with other participants to field sites.

Registration and fees must be received by August 1, 2016. If registration numbers are not met by this date, we will cancel the session and refund fees in full. The following refunds will be given if the participant must withdraw: Full refund minus $50 administration fee if more than 2 weeks before session begins, 50% refund if less than 2 weeks before session begins, no refund after the session has begun.

Field Equipment: 
Participants will need appropriate field clothing and footwear. Rubber knee boots should be sufficient, hip or chest waders are optional. Be prepared to go into the field each day with sunscreen, hat, and water bottle. Optional equipment includes a camera, GPS, or digital rangefinder.
