Description:

Your training instructor will be Kevin O'Connor from the Central Coast Wetlands Group at Moss Landing Marine Labs and members of the statewide CRAM development team. Cara and Kevin are also members of the Level 2 Committee of the California Wetlands Monitoring Workgroup. The field portion will be held at various wetlands around the Monterey Bay Area.

Includes classroom time in August 2021 + 4 field days. We encourage your registration and fees before July 1st, 2021; a decision to hold or to cancel the session will be made on this date based upon number of registrations (minimum of 10 needed). If registration numbers are not met, we will cancel the session and refund fees in full. The following refunds will be given if the participant must withdraw: Full refund minus $50 administration fee if before 7/1/2021, 50% refund if before 9/6/21, no refund after the session has begun. Course agenda and details will be emailed to participants two weeks prior to the session.

Field Equipment: 
Participants will need appropriate footwear (knee boots) and field clothing. Please be prepared for multiple days in the field. You will need sunscreen, a hat, rubber boots, and drinking water. Chest or hip waders are optional but may be useful for some sites.
